3 Personal Prayers

3 Personal Prayers

  1. Prayer before a job interview

Lord,

When they look at me, may they see You.

Let my eyes be Your eyes.

Let my smile be Your smile.

Let my words be Your words.

Let my gestures be Your gestures.

Let my face be Your face.

Let my clothes be Your clothes.

Let my spark be Your spark.

Let my intelligence be Your intelligence.

Let my resumé be Your resumé.

If it is in Your will,

May they not be able to refuse me.

May they not be able to reject me.

May they put my name on the company badge.

May they put my name on the company payroll.

May they assign me to my desk.

May they hire me with the salary that You know I need.

May they treat me with respect.

And may I keep this job for as long as I need it.

  1. Gym Prayer

Lord,

Keep my body well nourished, well rested and well worked.

Keep it free from sickness, disease, AIDS, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and every sickness that was, is and is to come.

Keep my mind clear and my heart true.

Keep my feet rushing into righteousness and away from sin.

Keep my hands working, never idle.

Lord,

This body is your beauty.

Let it age gracefully.

Multiply my efforts at the gym.

Double my sweat.

Give me stamina and strength.

Help me to remove everything that hinders my body from being at ease.

Give me simple joy at the ability to move and bend and twist and flex.

And may You bless me with this ability until my last breath.

  1. Generational Family Prayer

Lord,

I plead your blood over my mother.

I plead your blood over my father.

I plead your blood over my sisters.

I plead your blood over my brother.

I plead your blood over my aunts and uncles and their children.

I plead your blood over my friends and enemies.

I plead your blood over my grandmother and grandfather.

I plead your blood over the people of my parent’s country.

I plead your blood over my ancestors, whether they died in your friendship or as your enemies.

I plead your blood over the future generation of my blood line.

I plead your blood over extended family members.

I plead your blood over me.
